It's easy to use, it helps me easily nurture email subscribers into paying clients.
The email builder isn't too pretty. It feels too complicated to set up pipelines etc. so I am yet to make time to do so.
I am an email marketer for other small businesses, but product-based businesses. AC just works for my business. I have 1:1 communication easily with my audience, I don't rely on social media to drive sales. It's much more personal.
I like the templates used for the various features and auto emails. I love the pricing structure
It is not as user friendly. There's a lot to unpack as a non technical person. The tags, lower-case mandates, learning the triggers.
I used to send emails one by one. Now, I can create the email I want and send it out right away. I LOVE that.
The interface is intuitive, easy to use and provides exactly what I need. I was really impressed with the onboarding and support teams as well. They were so kind, helpful, and thorough.
There's not much that I dislike about ActiveCapaign. It has so many cool features and the possibilities are endless. I guess it can be a little overwhelming. I need to sit down and play around in ActiveCampaign to get more familiar with all of the tools I can use.
As the founder of a startup, I simply needed to send emails out to our mailing list and our customers and ActiveCampaign does that and way more. I love the site tracking on ActiveCampaign as well as the Chat box for our site. It has gone above and beyond my expectations and needs.
The ability to create automation to easily send emails and txt from cx apps
So far its been a breeze, not too much of a learning curve
I use forms to collect information then send emails and texts over the next few days to get new students into my martial arts classes
After using much simpler software, I realize what we were missing! ActiveCampaign is the perfect fit for our small business. It can track so many helpful things to really know your subscribers and how they act. Having a personal coach to get you started is very helpful. Take advantage of that time!!
This software is pretty complex. Yes, you can figure out many things on your own, but it's worth the time to attend their many training sessions. I think that's the best way to get the most benefit.
We are using Zapier much less. So many functions are built into this product that we previously needed to use 3rd parties. The automations are amazing and easy to set up.
No limit on users, ease of use, range of features
Limited social media integrations and difficulty in conditional text
Building landing pages, automating e-mail sequences, issuing newsletters. Easy to use.
I love the automation components for email campaigns making it easy to put the person in a marketing campaign that has multiple ways to distribute content.
So far I do not have anything we dislike
We had started using email campaigns in past years with a different tool, but never really felt we had a good solution in place until now with Active Campaign. We are now growing our lists and now driving additional leads from other sources than organic rankings or paid media.
Having used Pardot at my previous job, I was anxious to learn a new application when I started my current job. When I was added as a new user, ActiveCampaign contacted me to do a group onboarding session with them, which was very helpful! The presenters were very knowledgeable and personable. The app itself is super user-friendly and I love the home dashboard where I can quickly see all of my activities and analytics. We use forms and sync ActiveCampaign with Salesforce, which is also easy to do. I'm still learning more every day, but I've been impressed so far!
I'm still early in my use of ActiveCampaign, but so far everything is going well and I've been pleased with the capabilities and support. No dislikes at this time.
We mainly use ActiveCampaign to send out email campaigns to our current customers and Zaletypects, and for our website forms. An initial benefit is that we've been better able to analyze our efforts and track results.
I love the reports, landing pages and automated campaigns to name a few.
I haven't come across anything I dislike really. It is an investment so be prepared to make it.
Nurturing relationships with Zaletypects and clients. It allows me to work less and receive more.
it is very simple to learn and comprehen
the cost is slightly high but i can see the benefit once i learn the tools how it could be very lucrative for my business in terms of ROI
the mobile version is interesting if i need to correspond on the go, but the Apply software is definitely lower capability than the PC based interaction.
I love the ease of creating campaigns and managing all aspects of actions, drips, etc. from an easy editor. However, I think I love the support the best - Active Campaign has a live chat with someone that is always available to answer questions and help with whatever. Overall, one of the better SaaS platforms I have used.
The email builder is below average - however, I did see that they are getting ready to release an updated builder that looks to be comparable to some of the 3rd party builders on the market and some of the other mail platforms I have used. I think the analytics section could use a little improvement - there is a lot of data in there, but I think the UI is a bit lacking.
Engagement has been my primary use of ActiveCampaign - I have used it with a few different companies and have used it in different ways (manual list management, API integration, CRM integration, etc.) and it has been a great tool to reach customers throughout their lifecycle and keep them engaged with products or services.
Active Campaign is the best email marketing solution ever. Extremely easy to use, has comprehensive features and some of the most advanced features available today.
I honestly haven't found anything to dislike at this point. There is nothing I have wanted to do that I haven't been able to accomplish with Active Campaign.
Active Campaign has allowed me to implement advanced automation that is typically only found in services that charge 3 to 5 times as much. I've been able to automate campaigns, automate advanced segmentation and optimize sales based on user interaction. The features are quite literally limitless. This has directly resulted in higher sales rates, increased engagement rates and high performing marketing campaigns for my business.
Active campaign gives you access, at a price point any business can handle, a ton of super valueable features. Email broadcasts, automated workflows, reporting, CRM, and more. Plus it connects with tons of other tools very easily. Because of this it's become my go-to platform when working with clients.
The area I might be critical with ActiveCampaign would be first off the design. They could really use a facelift of their UI. It looks dark and old and new features often appear duct taped onto old architecture. It works, it's familiar, my man it looks old compared to some other platforms which I think turns people off and they don't get a chance to experience the full power of ActiveCampaign.
ActiveCampaign is my go to platform to keep track of my contact database, put together automated follow up and fulfillment sequences, and even keep track of Zaletypects via their CRM. It is a dream for doing all of the listed tasks at a lower price point than Hubspot or other competitors.
Their onboarding and customer service team members are extremely knowledgable, professional, and friendly. Eager to solve any issues and learn more about our business to help us help our clients using Active Campaign.
It's not so much a dislike, but the program itself is so robust and has so much functionality that there is a bit of a learning curve. But with a little patience, self-confidence, and time given to learn Active Campaign, it's totally worth it!
We are able to eliminate other software platforms that we do not really love and integrate more into Active Campaign. Their program has features that combine several platforms into one place. Streamlining has been amazing!
It is user-friendly, even for a non-techy person. Very efficient. Synchronization is always right and up to date. Easy to create lists, tags, campaigns (very customizable), contacts, importation and manually add details or new infos. Very satisfied. The team is also very helpful when needed.
Only - problems with uploading images several times, but always solved by the team. So, nothing ;)
Synching tags and progress tracking with a membership plugin. Automations for an online membership program are awesome and essential to my business. It saves me a lot of time and headaches. It helps me grow my business without increasing too much the time and money invested.
Active campaign automations are amazing, love the way it connect with different apps checks if a action is taken, else it sends another email. And their mobile App is good too.
I find it bit expensive, if they can do a deal for the same it would be amazing.
Email automation is the only feature i use, it's time i should start exploring more.
The value that ActiveCampaign provides for the price is unbeatable. Similar software (HubSpot, Keap, etc.) charge multiple times more for similar functionality.
ActiveCampaign's interface can be a bit obtuse for newcomers. The software can do so much that sometimes it's hard to navigate.
My own business runs off ActiveCampaign for our email marketing and CRM. We've been able to help our clients succeed with the platform as well.
I can't get over how impressed I am with ActiveCampaign. They do such a great job at automations and implementation and, honestly, it blows me away. I used to use Mailchimp years ago and was nervous about using something more complicated but I couldn't be happier. Not only that, automations are included at a lower price point than on HubSpot, which made the sell for me. Also, when I've had trouble with setting up complicated automations, their customer support was thoroughly impressive. I was blown away.
Generally, there's not a lot I do not like about ActiveCampaign, but if I were to say something, I do feel it's not as attractive in design as HubSpot is. Additionally, it does lack some very specific features that I want. For example, I really want the ability to add contacts to the CRM without an email address. Because their history is initially as solely an email marketing software, they require an email address for everyone. This is not conducive to my work when I align myself or market to social media users. They have said they're working on it.
I use this software as my email marketing tool, my sales CRM, and as a way to track my current clients. Because they have a kanban feature, it allows me to stay up-to-date where all of my Zaletypects, leads, and existing clients stand. The automations also tie into the CRM, which makes the whole experience very, well, fancy.
Getting help during the onboarding process and the continued support after the initial setup has made getting used to the interface and our migration seamless.
There are so many useful tools in our package that it was a bit daunting at first to figure out how to use them in the most efficient workflow toward our goals.
We needed a better way to segment our audience to communicate in a way that feels very individualized. Also, being able to play with other tools for performance analysis.
Simple steps to follow with tutorials to get systems set up. I find system intuitive to use with the diagrams that show flows.
Not always easy to find where things are e.g. forms. The titles aren't always descriptive enough for me
Customer communication. Automated systems of communication for onboarding to training programs and supporting through trainings
