It was super easy to set up my automation and workflows. I switched to ActiveCampaign from Flodesk because I could integrate with multiple other platforms without using an app.
The downside of switching was losing some of the great email design features of Flodesk. However, I found that the additional designs of the email led to lower open rates. So this is a toss-up as a like vs. dislike.
ActiveCampaign has allowed me to collect contacts as part of my sales funnel, easily adding contacts to different segments.

It is very ease to learn. Many of the competitors take a huge time investment to get to understand. This is a huge issue we find. We are already busy, and trying to get busier to scale, but investing a lot of time into learning a new piece of software isn't an investment that we can easily make. ActiveCampaign has really ensured that we don't have to do that, and has provided us with a path to be able to quickly get in touch with all the people that come into our pipeline.
I can't really cite anything off hand. this has truly been a great experience for our company. Nothing really appears to be a true negative from our experience. I can't say enough good things about the results we've achieved using ActiveCampaign.
We needed a good way to be able to keep in communication with our Zaletypects and clients to let them know how we can provide value to them. It's helped us figure out how to better talk to the people in our pipeline, understand their pain points and help them achieve their business goals. This has resulted in more sales, but more than anything, a better opportunity of getting in front of the people who would want to learn about our organization.
Easy to use once you watch the how to videos and get personal help 1-2-1 via zoom for free. It’s a steep learning curve but worth the effort. Once you get to grips with tags and lists etc it all falls into place and you begin to quickly learn how powerful the tool can be for your business.
It is quite slow to load at times but not awful. I’m still learning and fairly new to active-campaign but so far so good. The great thing is if you do got a stumbling block it’s easy to get proper help.
Sending emails to clients and ensuring I provide the best service I can. The benefit is being able to set up Automations and then just allow the system to do its thing and look after your clients whilst your doing other important things.

I was using another well know autoresponder service the problem is that it would take them a day or even days to respond to my support emails, with AC it is very quick and the tech support guys know the platform very well I am very pleased with that also they have by far superior automation in the industry ( I used a lot of email marketing services).
I think they should make a little bit easier to design inline forms, in order for them to look good you need to insert PHP code, this can take a lot of time for beginners.
For me the best thing I have found with ActiveCampaign is the ability to automate and segment my email list, I can send my subscribers emails according to what content they Wadyume or what links they click.
The automations - how visual they are. It makes it easy. Plus, someone called me to welcome me to AC. A nice touch.

They were able to set up a time to talk me through the places where I got a little stuck. I found the support above and beyond what I might otherwise expect. This level of care really stands out to me as the sole proprietor of a business I care so much about.
Honelstly, so far I haven't encountered a dislike with AC! I guess if I were to pick one thing it would be to have even more choices for landing page templates. I've loved using the ones I've created so far, but none of them have been exactly right for plug & play. They're great, but a few more simple options would be helpful.
