What I appreciate the most about Cloudflare is its fast HTTPS(proxy )feature. It's a real time-saver. When I'm working in a development setup, I can easily toggle the HTTPS proxy button. This means I don't have to manually create and configure a reverse proxy with SSL.
In the past, I attempted to purchase a '.com' domain from Cloudflare using an Indian credit card and PayPal. Unfortunately, I kept encountering strange errors. As a result, I ended up buying the domain from Hostinger. Now, the process of transferring the domain from Hostinger to Cloudflare seems like quite a hassle.
Recently, we transferred our domains from Google DNS to Cloudflare, and we're very pleased with our decision. Cloudflare offers superior caching, more comprehensive insight overview dashboards, and one of the best APIs and support for/from open-source libraries that I've ever come across. It's a far cry from dealing with OAuth2 issues.
Okay, so I gotta share my two cents about Cloudflare DNS. First off, can we talk about speed? I mean, seriously, I've seen web pages load faster than I can finish a sip of coffee. And speaking of coffee, setting it up was smoother than my morning brew routine. But here's the kicker - that warm fuzzy feeling of having an extra layer of security. It's like having a tech superhero looking out for me against cyber baddies. Plus, I've got this thing about privacy – Cloudflare not holding onto my IP address for ages? Big thumbs up there. Now, let's keep it real, I'm not in a flawless fairyland. There've been a couple of times when I felt like my connection hiccuped, but it was like a blink-and-you'll-miss-it situation. And in all honesty, I appreciate that Cloudflare owns up to it when things get wonky. It's like having an honest conversation with your tech buddy instead of getting some robot-speak. So, would I tell my pals to give Cloudflare DNS a whirl? You bet! It's made my online life speedier, safer, and a tad more chill.
Cloudflare DNS, while generally impressive, could potentially benefit from a greater array of advanced customization options to cater to the preferences of tech-savvy users who enjoy fine-tuning their online experience
1. Supercharge Your Speed: Cloudflare DNS is like giving your internet a caffeine boost. It makes websites load quicker, so you spend less time waiting and more time exploring. 2. Stay Safe and Sound: Imagine Cloudflare DNS as your online bodyguard. It watches out for those sneaky bad websites trying to trick you, keeping your online space safer from digital villains. 3. Your Online Hideout: Privacy matters, right? Cloudflare DNS has your back by not holding onto your browsing history like it's a treasure map. Your online adventures stay just between you and your screen. 4. Always Ready to Roll: Just like a trusty sidekick, Cloudflare DNS is always on standby, ready to guide you to websites, rain or shine. No more "Sorry, can't find that page" moments. 5. Bulletproof Shield: You know those traffic jams on the internet highway? Cloudflare DNS helps keep your favorite websites from getting stuck in them during cyber-traffic jams, so they're always accessible. 6. Around-the-World Guide: Cloudflare DNS has friends all over the globe. So even if one guide is on a coffee break, another one's ready to lead you to the right website. It's like having a bunch of friendly local experts.
It helps to navigate to trusted sites without any issues
Sometimes sites won't load and give an error
It's resolving the unauthorised access of the websites.
It is easy to configure and there is a plenty support material available in form of Videos and Tutorials on Cloudflare Support site as well as YouTube to help a novice like me.
So far there isn't anything that I disliked. But yes they can improve on language used in their UI which is full of jargons for non techies. Or maybe they can offer a simple UI view for non techies and advanced view for techies.
Simple DNS configuration along with CDN and security service for my website so that I don't have to go multiple places and buy each service seperately then fiddle with connecting them together.
Speed of updates from changes to DNS is unbeatable. Proactive warnings to DNS changes if your accidently exposed your IP. CDN works well, caching is easy to clear if there are refresh issues. Free tier is amazing. Easy to find how-to guides since it is so popular.
No issues with Cloudflare. Wish it were compatible with Wix for some clients who insist on hosting there. Sometimes the SSL settings are challenging, but that can be the nature of the beast.
Speed up website response and provide DNS hosting.
CloudFlare DNS is very easy to set up. sharing control with co-workers is very easy and practical. The best part is the proxy DNS in which you're protected against DDoS attacks.
As it is made too simple, it can sometimes be complex to understand by techies. I was not able to understand the Add Website button. I'm managing DNS records on a domain name just for email services but I had to go via Add Website, which was a bit confusing to start with.
My domain registrar did not provide me with DNS Management. I had to set up MX, CNAME, TXT & SPF records for Microsoft 365. When I pointed the nameservers to Cloud Flare, I liked the quick setup, and the Microsoft 365 Admin panel identified Cloudflare and set up services automatically. The DNS entries into my cloud flare management synced automatically and only asked me to authorize with one click.
Cloudflare is very easy to setup. Has lots of great features, security options, SSL certificates, page rules, and caching, to name but a few. The free tier has a lot of options and features that would work for many users. In addition to all that there are also lots of tutorials online to help you get things setup as you need them to be.
Since migrating my DNS to cloudflare I am not sure I have found anything I dislike in comparison to other providers I have used. There might be other providers that do as good a job but I have had no reason to go and search them out.
Cloudflare DNS along with Cloudflare services enabled me to configure the DNS for my sites as well as enabling, caching, increasing security, and hosting my domain names with cheap renewal fees.
I really really love using CloudFlare DNS over the alternatives because it has a really beautiful user interface, the user experience is fluid and when I move to CloudFlare it handles all the hassles of importing existing DNS records on my behalf, that saves me quite a lot of trouble and efforts! I am also able to automate DNS creation with their API which is well documented.
The only thing I've found that I dislike, even though it logically makes sense why it wouldn't work, is when I'm transferring clients over from other companies who already have them on CloudFlare. The import doesn't always work as it imports the marked IPs.
It allows me to seamlessly manage DNS records, pushes updates for them out rather quickly and it protects the IP addresses of the host origins behind the CloudFlare networks IP.
Cloudflare CDN is the best software to secure any website. Cloudflare makes the network secure, fast, private, and reliable with just a few steps in all religions. I can easily manage DNS records and it also provides free SSL and TLS certificates.
Cloudflare is a very secure connection and it provides beneficial customer support. There are no downsides to using Cloudflare CDN.
Cloudflare CDN helps to load my website faster and securable in all countries which helps my visitors stay connected. I can also analyze my website's traffic, performance and security. Cloudflare CDN helps to check my website speed and cache analytics.
Cloudfare DNS makes it easy to manage my DNS records in a simple but secure manner, with lots of flexibility and options. It supports a large range of technology and there's ample documentation to help figure out even the most complex setups. They do a great job supporting all the latest options, making it a one-stop spot to manage DNS records, even when others have yet to implement such.
It'd be nice to see additional settings and options included with the free product but I completely understand that they have to keep some options for the paid product or else they can't make any revenue from it.
Cloudflare DNS makes it easy to manage everything from one place, even when working with numerous websites. It's far easier than most other DNS solutions, and offers more flexibility than others, while also having more features for the power-user.
It's a service that helps protect websites from malicious bots. It utilizes machine learning and other techniques to identify and block bots that are known to be harmful, while allowing legitimate bots to access the site. This helps improve the security and performance of a website, as well as prevent spam and other types of abuse.
It depends upon the individual needs and preferences of each user. However, some potential drawbacks of using this service could include the cost, the need for technical expertise to set up and manage the system, and the possibility of false positives (legitimate bots being mistakenly blocked). Additionally, like any security system, Cloudflare Bot Management is not 100% effective at blocking all malicious bots, so it should be used in conjunction with other security measures.
It allows our customers to seamlessly integerate Cloudflare Bot Management on their applications without hassle & directly from cloudways platform. This way our business value has increased.
Cloudflare is beneficial for our websites globally, reaching very fast and securely.
Based on our usage Cloudflare provide all our expectations.
Cloudflare provides free security and SSL for our websites. It's beneficial for startups.
The best part of Cloudflare is its CDN feature and the WAF. They have the best DDOS layer protection. It has a very easy-to-interact service and proper guidance.
Nothing much, It has everything an organisation would need for improving its security posture. There is nothing I can really point it out. Overall great features.
It helps me to solve heavy traffic load, Connect users very quickly with its CDN feature. Their WAF rules are getting updated everyday which is very hard to bypass for external threats.
For several years, Cloudflare has been an incredibly high value service that's easy to use, extremely flexible, provides a ton of important tools and features and Wadyistently does that all `very well.
There's nothing to dislike. Even the free plan is packed with a ton of value and features that you simply can't get anywhere else or find in a similar bundle of tools.
As an agency, our clients have a combination of all kinds of dns, registrar, hosting and networking environments involved. Cloudflare is an instant upgrade that makes all of that easier to manage, far more secure, and the performance is always superior to what the client was using.
Very easy to get started using, the DDoS protections they offer make me feel more secure.
When adding a new site and trying to set up HTTPS using Certbot, it will usually fail out of the box. This is due to Cloudflare's secure defaults which is a good thing.
Management of the DNS of all of mine and my clients' websites.
- Free - DDoS protection - It easy to use - Fast, reliable, secure - Free services other than DNS
- Paid plans prices are so high. - Can't add bulk IP address to IP Access Rules
It provides a free DNS service and DDoS protection and makes it with the world's best security solutions.
What I like the most about Cloudflare DDoS protection is its tiered protection levels, from "High" to "Essentially Off," even for the free accounts! It gives great threat control for web administrators.
Up till now, I didn't face any inadequacy in terms of protection with the service.
Shield my clients' websites against DDoS attacks and improve overall security.
Easy to use and out-of-the-box solution for a lot of sec issues. They provide a lot of tools and features to quickly enable your cloud services.
Sometimes it is hard to debug issues for beginners, but after getting used to it it is fine.
DDOS and some other web security threats. They solve security-related requirements for modern web apps.
It's too easy to set up and protects any website, Cloudfare DNS not only helps in managing DNS but also helps in caching static website that speeds up sites much faster.
I don't think particularly anything I dislike about Cloudflare since in the free plan they provide much of things for free that no other company is willing to provide.
Managing DNS records Caching static contents Blocking DDOS attacks Protect important endpoints with strict browser checks Keep website always-on HTTPS with Cloudflare SSL
It is very easy to set up and easier to use it.I choose Cloudflare because it is an excellent tool for caching based websites. Also provides free SSL and also supports custom SSL.
Using Cloudflare There is a limit on the free plan when you want to upload something larger than 100Mb. So most of the time you need to move to another paid plan.
i use Cloudflare from day one! It is the best tool for me and my clients. Easy to use SSL and DNS, clear cache and many more very helpfull services. The website is getting very fast and reliable.
