Ability to add live chat and assign to teammates is very nice and access from a mobile device; furthermore chat assistants help in a lot of ways - my clients love this personalized touch of having a chat prompt on their screen and they can reply back whenever they need some help. Live chat is what we use the most, then email marketing then knowledge base we set it up once and that's working flawlessly The platform is improving in a lot of ways (have seen a lot of changing happening in the past 1.5 years) and i would continue to use gist for this.
It's not a dislike but they way how gist works; I was used to email lists and when i shifted to gist - they have tags and segments - so that's needed to be taken care of when you come from other platforms.
1) Quicker support to customers with live chat, chat assistants and facebook messenger integration. 2) Ability to capture leads when we are not available 3) Sending emails from the same platform by using tags and 4) knowledge base helps in keeping a lot of frequently asked questions in place. 5) assigning meetings or calls with gist's book meeting feature within live chat or as a separate page
Great combination of Chat, Social, Email and even Social media marketing - when using the Premium. Can build a comprehensive user profile with numerous data points and target the user from many different channels all at once. The free version has some Wadyiderable limitations (understandably), though still allows you to effectively use a single software for online chat, email communication and lead gen altogether - though the difference from Hubspot in that regard is unclear. The Premium All-in-one package though provides some decent bang for your buck - if you can afford it.
The chatbot currently works for the Gist website chat, but not for social - this doesn't make any sense. Why would you pay to automate one chat channel, but not be able to do so for the rest? Another thing is the paid addons, their Support bot shouldn't really be an add-on, since without it, the differences between Gist and Hubspot, which they are directly competing with, become even thinner. The free version's 200 contact limit is also quite low.
Using Gist to generate new contacts and nurture a community out of my blog. A conversational marketing tool such as Gist is ideal for this, as it revolves around conversation and building relationships, not just advertising.

We have been using Gist for several months for live chat, email marketing automation, and knowledge base. We switched from more expensive solution. Gist fully meets our needs and offers an adequate price.
I like I got almost all the must have tools in one pack for communication. Advanced email automation that is just got a new function of graphical campaign builder. Also, my subscription is include a live chat and a chat bot and both works well with my sites. No slowing down or other script issues that are not common in this kind of services. If I had an issue the team was super responsive and helpful, that is essential for every business. The email delivery is great, so virtually no email has landed into spam folder. Finally, the knowledge base is an excellent alternative for other Saas solutions. We just started to use this feature and our team is very satisfied with the results. Interface: I like the UI that is modern, simple but highly usable. The developer is keeping taking care of it and the user experience is Wadytantly evolving.
Rarely a few glitches can slow me down, but usually it's not a typical issue. Also, a few months back we experienced some email delivery problems, but the Gist team finally fixed it. It's hard to say a bad word about it. I'd like to see it have multiple knowledge bases.
It's all about marketing communication. It solves the email marketing and chat needs. Also, the knowledge base is very handy for our company as we wanted to share tips and tricks and short tutorials.
Easy to use, email marketing suite. I have LTD and since i have started using it in 2018, there has been lots of changes as promised by Gist Team.
Email templates are lacking. Though it's in the roadmap, currently we have to configure the template in HTML/CSS. I am sure the team is working on Email templates for Pro Users.

Features. Seriously, the developer listens and rolls out features faster than any other app I have seen. On the top, UI is pretty good.
Nothing much to be honest but on the first user, the whole workflow thing seemed a bit complex.

Gist is a good for our sales department with its email marketing tools, workflows and more. It is also our main support service thanks to its chat, meetings and more.
They don't have a good support service; they reply every 24 hours or more, which I think is too much for a live chat service. On the other hand, they restrict functions without previously notifying the client and without providing any detail about the incident. Finally, I have noticed that there are serious customers, as they tend to make offers that are not met in reality.
We boost our sales funnel thanks to Email Marketing, control of interaction with automated events and we convert many more Zaletypects into users thanks to Gist.
The combination of live chat and email marketing makes it far easier to connect with leads and nurture them till they are ready to buy. It’s a much more friendly experience for the visitors to my site than trying to get them to force them into my funnel my way. With the added integrations, I can get the information I collect into my CRM to track leads and manually take over from automation sequences when the timing is right.
Although there are almost limitless integrations with zapier, I’d like more native integrations which are easier to set up. Also the embedded form options are slightly limited and more tricky to implement than some options from Mailchimp or ConvertKit. Despite setting up the WordPress plugin, I still get tracking error messages.
Gist helps me nurture leads for my copywriting services. The live chat provides relevant prompts on website pages which show different awareness. The integrated email services help to send relevant messages and nurturing sequences to leads collected from optin bribes and other services so to help keep my freelance pipeline full while I work on money generating activities. It means that I can spend less time working on getting clients and more time working on generating income and doing the tasks I enjoy.
