Hubspot goes above and beyond to train users in the use of their software, and their marketing philosophy. Building pages is straightforward, and tailored towards the "inbound marketing" approach.
Some of the tools for blog writing can lead to difficulty. For example, an embedded video can display correctly in the preview, but have its dimensions radically altered when published to the live site. Additionally, SEO checklists like those offered on competing platforms, while not missing, are obscure and easy to miss in the UI.
Hubspot functions as our webhost, and CRM database. Getting everything integrated on the same platform allows more accurate lead tracking.
Ability to connect all the dots on a contact's activity. I like the user-friendly side of Hubspot. Also having one central location for all your contacts' activities makes it easier to retell the story.
Reporting is poor and the ability to link deals and contacts need improvement. Ability to link the deals with contacts and the fact that contacts do not automatically get associated with companies is a big minus.
We run all marketing and sales in Hubspot currently. We do have the landing pages of our website build in HS, as well as the Social Media that we run is also done in Hubspot.
- The ease of traveling from portal to portal - Workflows & all automation - Seeing the real-time reporting capabilities
- The spontaneous crashes - the lack of ux in blog edit mode (tool bar sometimes is in the way)
- mass email communication - persona identification - web design
Hubspot is a complete tool that allows you to align your inbound, marketing and sales efforts when you are at a growing stage. Having everything connected in one unique place saves time and improves the integration between processes. It's easy to use and the learning center is very helpful.
Some key integrations are missing, as the one with Likeding Lead Gen Forms. A part from that, maybe the reporting side included without any add on is a bit weak, should be improved in that sense and take more profit of the integration of functionalities to provide also integrated analytics in the reporting.
I'm implementing the inbound and content strategy using Hubspot as a CMS and as a platform for all our marketing automation.
Hubspot is at the forefront of modular websites. I like that I can build a client a set of module and they can create hundreds of different types of pages.
The UI is clunky and off mark. Quick controls are nested in drop downs, modules don't scope well, and modular ability is only one level deep.
100% of my income comes from building websites for Hubspot customers. It's a premium product that I know well and because Hubspot is so agency centered I have almost no competition as a contractor. I never have to hunt for work. I just wish Hubspot would incorporate my people into their structure, I've retained so many clients for them but they aren't contracts so they don't matter.
I love the analytics tool in Hubspot that let's you view all your data. The campaign and workflow tools are also a great way to help save precious time and money!
It's not the best when it comes to price as compared to the other alternatives available in the market
Basically every aspect of marketing is take care by hubspot from emailing to website to analytics.
I like the ability to use tracking metrics and evaluate in a concise platform.
It is sometimes difficult to connect all of the different web traffic together.
Conciseness, email marketing, content generation.
HubSpot provides a lot of different features for sales and marketing efforts. I appreciate the Zaletypects list and ability to create landing pages within the program.
It can take a long time to learn how to use the system
We’re small, but for a larger company it would be extremely efficient in streamlining your marketing automation, website and sales leads.
It was great to track emails. I like that it is a multi use platform.
There was no demo in the beginning. Could use a tutorial.
Great for email tracking for our marketing canpaigns. We would send out promotional links and could track foot traffic to the site and how many people purchased our products using the link.
I like that it is very easy to find what I'm looking for but there are also so many features and settings that I learn about everyday.
I find that sometimes the wording for trying to find certain things is a bit difficult.
We are able to quickly spin up website pages easily.
I like do like HubDB feature. It's really help a lot.
It might be the template. But I don't like editing it on design manager. Also, I don't like I can use the search box for URL.
HubDB table helps a lot. One edit for all changes.
We had a pretty bad experience with WordPress as it tends to be too complicated sometimes. We switched to Hubspot to bring everyone under an umbrella to have more control over things. It has been a pretty good experience so far, there is no upskilling required to use the tool.
TBH, we have been using it recently, and so far so good. We are planning to migrate the hosting to Hubspot. TBH, a bit concerned about how it would perform as HS itself had frequent downtime in the recent past.
Seems a better option than WordPress as we are fixing the instantly & have more control over the website now. But again, it's too early to come to a conclusion
Perfect integration with HUBSPOT inbound system like landing pages and forms with a common template and minimum complexity
The Starter plan is very limited in term of responsiveness and to obtain simple feature you have to pay 10 times more.
Simple lead capture with possibilities to integrate calendars for meetings and forms
Really intuitive software, easy to navigate between options
I often find it challenging to receive answers to my questions online forms when it comes to more niche requests or confusions
Accessible tools that can are easy to pick up
Sales pipeline works well enough. Easy to track and add leads. Simple interface. Full team visibility.
The inbox dashboard is not accurate or does not update in real time.
Great customer service.
The readymade email templates and the ease of UI to perform any task or to generate reports I need.
The editing of the ui components in the email templates is difficult because it is very limited so if we would get morefeatures like controlling the layout in grid and background gradient than it will be more pleasurable
I use hubspot mainly for the email campaign of my clients. And building email templates are too easy it saves lots of my time and I can even test in multiple email clients.
What I found helpful about Hubspot is that it allows a non developer to create web pages with the templates that I made. Another helpful thing is that you can create multiple developer accounts, allowing for development without impacting the live site
What I dislike about HubSpot is that it includes default styling which I had to fight because we are using our own css framework. In addition, I was mildly annoyed that it is not possible to develop fully locally. All the templates etc have to be uploaded to hubspot to test them. Because of this it's not possible to develop on the go without a network connection
HubSpot contains all the tools one would need for their marketing needs. Because of this, you can easily engage visitors and convert them into potential customers
I like how all of our teams can work together, Sales, Marketing, even having out site and landings also inside of the same platform instead of using different sites for different services,
I wish it was more flexible to customize sequences, to transfer contacts to emails, and also to edit and personalize the website pages, landings and email templates.
For my company is h aving all of the services inside of the same platform so different cross/functional teams can access to the same info in the same platform.
The HubSpot CMS Hub allows me to build and manage my company's website without the need for a developer. I can spin up a new web page in 20 minutes or less. It also integrates seamlessly with HubSpot CRM and other products.
There's a bit of a learning curve to begin with, and some basic HTML/CSS knowledge is definitely recommended to get the most out of it. There are also some frustrating limitations that sometimes require inefficient workarounds.
I use HubSpot CMS Hub to build and manage my company's online presence.
Analytics and blog posts are nice and straightforward
Being shackled to a provider who have all templates locked. Completely detracts from customisability.
Lead tracking via forms is great
