The integration not only with our dispatch/invoicing software (through an API) but also the ability to communicate with customer in real time, using our landline as the to/from texting.

Podium has helped us to communicate more quickly and effectively with any of our customers. People are not as likely to respond to a phone call but at certain times, but a text is quick, easy, and effective. It allows the customer and the user to communicate when it's convenient for everyone.
I like the ease at which our customer can communicate with us. In today's times, you have to be diverse in the channels of which others can reach out to you and Podium makes it so simple! It's also very affordable for all the features you get with it and the support team is MOST helpful when you have users like us who need a little extra help sometimes :)
Had to dig deep for this one...We could use a little more one on one training to discuss what all it has to offer and how to implement, not just email rollouts.

I like being able to connect with current and potenial customers through texting. I also like that multiple people in the office or in the field, can be logged in at the same time and everyone can see the texts. I can easily view and respond to reviews. I use Podium daily and can use it from the office or from home.
I really have no reason to use Podium for contact database or to collect payment from customers
Podium has been able to connect us with customers and potential customers easily through text. Also cut down on spam phone calls.
The flexibility to communicate directly with customers from my cell phone, while still protecting my time and protecting my personal cell number. We love that customers can text our office number directly with questions, even images! We have always thrived on "word-of-mouth" referrals and spent very little on advertising. Podium has helped translate referrals and customer satisfaction into more online reviews and higher ratings!
Setting up the automations and navigating the site could be more efficient, I tend to get lost a bit in some of the processes. We also get increasingly more spam type texts and messages.
Increasing quantity and quality of online reviews and feedback. Has also been a great way to keep personal cell phone numbers, yet still having an easy method to communicate with customers, share proposals and images.
I can do everything from Podium, it is the first thing I check when I get ready for my work day. I can see if I've missed any customers while away from my desk. There is an option to review our phone conversation if I've called a few days before and I need to refresh any important information that was discussed. If I've missed a call I can see if the customer has left a voicemail, or easily call them back. Some customers prefer texting and that is a real game changer, for the customer's that do prefer this option. Customer's can also make a payment or send in a review.
at this time I do not see any downsides to Podium.

Our customers can give us feedback easily via links, we can text email and communicate to increase visibility online better than ever! WE can commnicate via text to customers for business easily!
Cannot link with yelp, or some other online platforms
Customer feedback and problem-solving are the best! Texting the customer is easy and they can text us for appointments so our efficiency is up too!
I love Podium. I' ve been using this software since 2017 and it has never disappointed. It's a useful tool for communicating with customers and mostly for getting more reviews. Team members find it very easy to use and navigate. Overall the program is one of the best I've found.
It is clunky if you have multiple Google Business Profiles that you are managing.
Podium helps us to get reviews!
We are very pleased with the number of reviews podium has helped us generate. We also are happy with thereminder feature that is sent to our customers the day before their appointment, it has helped reduce forgotten appointments significantly.

It is very easy to opperate. It allows communication with customers when they are busy. It also allows me to multi-task while communicating back with customers.
There is nothing that I dislike about Podium.
