One stop shop. We use Teamwork for client support tickets, time tracking, file management, note taking, etc.
I've encountered a few annoying bugs. One occurs when you're scrolling through projects on the left-hand side and out of nowhere you'll jump down to the bottom of the projects listed. So they're still working out a few kinks.
Time tracking (seeing which projects are the most and least profitable based off time), project management (all notes, files, etc. can be store din teamwork), and also Support Ticketing (using Teamwork Desk)

Relatively flat learning curve for basic use by non-project management staff. At the same time, it is robust enough to facilitate the majority of project management and resource management logistics.
Saas functionality is sometimes slow and unresponsive. Subtask completions/deletions sometimes freeze and do not resolve even with refresh or restart. Adding additional subtask and then completing/deleting often resolves this. Minimal data export customization, i.e., many not-needed columns exported and then removed in Excel.
Staff buy-in experience has been positive for the most part, allowing for accurate resource tracking as well as task awareness for customer, SME, and PM alike. This has allowed for more sccurate critical path planning as well as data tracking regarding team resource workload.
I like the time tracking feature the best

Our project managers enjoy the intuitive user experience and the ability to manage subtasks nested under tasks. Our sales team enjoys the fact that they can demonstrate the visibility/transparency we allow our clients to have their projects. Our company's credibility is enhanced through the use of TeamworkPM.
Our sales team wishes the commonly used CRMs more seamlessly integrated with TeamworkPM so that they could easily port CRM clients and deals into TeamworkPM.
Every project we work on for our clients is managed within TeamworkPM. Our business is dependent on web based project management for a variety of reasons, including the fact that we have 3 offices that are geographically far apart. We've experienced great efficiencies in organization and communication. We continually receive very good feedback from our clients regarding the transparency/visibility that they have into their project(s) via TeamworkPM.
Tons of options based on specific agency or client needs. The user friendly interface helps keep everything organized for both client-facing and inward-facing team communications.
Wish there were more customizations for notifications, both automated and manual.
As an integrated marketing and development agency, it's imperative for us to maintain streamlined communications both internally and externally. Our clients require time logs for hourly billings and project status reports for project-based work.
My favorite feature of Teamwork is the ability to create templates for projects. This means that we can create a task list with responsibilities, dependencies etc and then save it as a template so that future projects of the same type our quicker to setup. It's a real time saver. I also love the task snapshots where it shows what tasks are outstanding for myself or other members.
I'd love to see more integration, and easier integration with google drive, i.e. linking to files on google drive. I'd also like to see wysiwig attribution of dependencies in tasks.
Managing projects, tracking progress, working as a team.
Teamwork Projects has a fairly intuitive navigation with a good variety of tools to manage projects for a variety of clients. Our agency switched from Basecamp to Teamwork Desk as we grew from 20 employees to 35 and it's been a strong solution that we continue to be very pleased with. With attachments, notes, costing, time logging - this is one place you could theoretically use to house all information related to a project.
There is no resource capacity/traffic component, which would really make this a comprehensive project management and scheduling tool. A few small quirks here and there: for example, once a task is closed, a resource can no longer log time to it resulting in tasks that are held open showing as "late" while account teams wait for time to be logged against the task. Additionally, the action iWady for each task are only visible as a hover state, so those new to the program have a learning curve until they find their way around.
Teamwork is a bit like a Basecamp for full project-management. We use it for short-term forecasting and time tracking, and we try to keep all communication about projects within the comments of each task. We've been really pleased with Teamwork Chat, which is integrated into Teamwork Project has improved internal communication (similar to Slack). We've also just started going down the path of rolling out Teamwork Desk for a ticketing solution. We have not yet invited clients to communicate with us via Teamwork Project, but are Wadyidering doing so in the near future.
Unlimited amount of users you can add Ability to send documents to a project-specific e-mail address which is created automatically. This feature enables us to share reports with our clients in a very efficient and automated way. Teamwork helps us a lot in breaking down a project in different milestones, tasks and to have a complete overview of the project status.
It is quite time Wadyuming to fill in all the information in the tasks. You need to click through different tabs if you want to do everything properly.
We've installed an automated reporting system with Teamwork at a very low cost. Our audit system sends out PDF reports to a projectspecific e-mail address in Teamwork (generated automatically for each project you set up in TW). Each report is then uploaded, and our client received an automated e-mail that a new report has been added. We have recently decided to integrate the complete development of our ICT department in Teamwork. I am using Teamwork in collaboration with our Bulgarian subsidiary for client specific survey projects where i need to communicate quickly with our engineer in Sofia. Furthermore, we can share the same filestructure and thus always work in the latest version of the files. Automatically, the old version is archived which is also nice I also use teamwork in planning our marketing actions for a specific tool we are selling on allergen management. Teamwork shares all tasks with the licence giver so he is updated on a regular basis about the marketing actions we undertook.
Teamwork has been a great project management tool. It saves a lot of time on updates- if you want to know what stage your project is in, you just check Teamwork. It’s also a great way to keep the lines of communication open with our clients. It streamlines communication, both within the team and between the team and the client.
It can be difficult to get used to, even for a digital native.
This program took all our various business communications and lumped them all into one place. Now everything is organized and searchable.

It would be so helpful to be able to assign tasks to contacts that have been added to teamwork but don't have their own account level access. I work with some freelancers that don't need to log into Teamwork but I still need to be able to assign tasks to them so that I can follow-up on active work and make sure it gets done.

I found the CRM (via demo) lacking compared to our current CRM Hubspot. It would be great to see emphasis put into the CRM so that we could have more of an all-in-one tool, or build a more robust integration with Hubspot.
Project Management - We are a content production company where lots of hands in a number of ongoing projects and this tool helps tremendously with the collaboration aspect.

What I like best about Teamwork is how it helps us not drop the ball on all the different things we need to get done in the business. We also love how it has helped us develop business systems so we don't have to reinvent the wheel over and over again.
The billing is set up per employee per year and we bring in interns for 3 months stints, so we've had to set up workarounds that aren't ideal, for time tracking. When we have Teamwork connected to Google calendar it doesn't block out the time for a Task o nthe Calendar. Rather, it puts it as a Task reminder that shows up at the top of the calendar.
Teamwork solves our problem of what needs to get done and in what order. It also helps us with our business systems. We use it as our time clock. It helps us with both project and task management and priotization.
Teamwork allows us to use one tool, that can be adapted for the various project management styles we use. For large projects and website builds, visualising the project in a Gannt chart is vital, where as managing ad-hoc client request for other clients can be done in a task list or board. Overall, it's the versatility that Teamwork caters for is the main reason we use it. The whole team use Teamwork daily and it's our central place for managing all client work. The customer support is very good, we have only had a handful of queries but they get resolved very fast. We haven't had any need to integrate teamwork with other apps as it handles everything we need natively. We also find it very easy to get new users up and running.
The same reason we love Teamwork, is also its downfall... it can be hard to get the whole team using the software in the same way. This isn't so much an issue with Teamwork but more about how we manage internal processes and how we implement it within our organisation, however it would be great if you could completely turn off fewtures you didn't use or want, to make the interface more streamlined and intuitive.
The biggest problem it solves is centralising lots of elements into one tool. This includes time tracking, task management and project management. It also gives us a top level view of the workload within the team and helps us analyse best customers (highest revenue with least time spent servicing them).

We have multiple projects that run concurrently across different departments with cross-functional teams. We use Teamwork to plan and collaborate on how we can manage out human resources.
It is easy to use, especially after creating the initial templates. It allows us to make sure that all of the client's work is being done on time and we are able to document all of the progress that we are seeing.
The initial set up took a little longer than expected, but it was mostly due to bottlenecks that we caused while using a Wadyultant.
